  • Meet Glynes

    Glynes Austin joined us in the summer of 2023 as a furniture artist. While her main focus is working with the Birds gotta Fly team we are honored to have her doing custom work for customers who contract with us to paint a piece of furniture. Glynes is a meticulous painter and is extremely well versed in using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Sealers. She was one f the many staff at BFG who helped me when I first got started! Welcome Glynes!

  • Annie Slessman

    Annie is a dear friend and fellow artist and a woman of many talents. Annie says she has always walked one step beyond her comfort level when approaching anything she has not attempted before.  To not try is the inconceivable to her. The fact that Annie is a former skydiver attests to that fact. Now retired from the legal field where she served as a bailiff, it wasn’t long before she sought out new things to learn and ways to express herself.   • Heidi Bemiller

    Heidi joined the Shutter and Brushes team in June of 2021. I am blessed to have a small business that my sister has joined me in managing. Heidi started out helping with custom paint projects for customers and has mastered the art of painting and finishes. She ic comfortable with many types of paints, stains and sealers. She is a master in the spray booth and has attended the Annie Sloan New Stockiest Training Course. You will find her working in our Shutter & Brushes Store at Birds Gotta Fly Vintage or out at the warehouse working her magic!

  • Meet Amy

    I have a personal passion for anything vintage. If you tag along with me to an estate sale or to a local thrift shop, you will find me attracted to vintage linens, blue willow transferware, and various styles of pink dishware. Thrifting is like a great adventure for me.   The joy of bidding at auctions makes it all too easy for me to raise my bid card for the thrill of a win!
